About
The Starting Point for Mechanical Design
CADAGEN turns a written or visual part description into an editable 3D solid model (STEP) ready to open directly in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and your CAD workflow.

Start with a solid model, not an empty screen
Every mechanical design starts with a blank sketch. Instead of losing hours drawing base geometries for flanges, brackets, shafts, sheet metal bends, and housings from scratch; type your dimensions and let CADAGEN build your editable solid model in seconds. The downloaded STEP file opens natively in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, and NX where features can be adjusted and inserted into assemblies. Material choice, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing sign-off always remain with the engineer.
Built by engineers, for engineers
CADAGEN was built at the intersection of mechanical engineering and modern software compilers. Our goal is not to replace the design engineer, but to eliminate the repetitive CAD modeling burden in the shop and office. Our engine does not create hollow gaming meshes or fragile polygons; it builds machinable mechanical solids with defined walls and true engineering geometry.

Our engineering & reliability principles
CADAGEN is built on reliability and transparent engineering principles. Four rules guide us:
- 01Editable Starting Model: CADAGEN provides a dependable starting solid, not a shop-released drawing. We leave manufacturing tolerances, fits, and final sign-off to the engineer.
- 02Geometry Built in Your Browser: The solid is built inside your own browser, isolated and safe, rather than on a remote server.
- 03Inspection Gauges & Stability: We never deploy untested changes. Every geometry update is tested against a frozen golden set of real mechanical parts to prevent regression.
- 04Verifiable Claims: We avoid inflated AI hype or unsubstantiated superiority claims. Every showcase model on this site was genuinely generated by CADAGEN and is freely downloadable.
