Coloured STEP and assemblies

Generate a multi-body model → studio colours bodies by workshop role → download STEP with the same palette.

What it does

  • Colour separate bodies in the studio preview and in downloaded STEP.
  • Keep STL as a mesh for print/preview — it does not carry colour.
  • Treat internal solids as real assembly members, not decoration.

What it does not

  • Guarantee ISO fits or assembly mates.
  • Explode, hide, or isolate parts inside the browser viewer.
  • Write colour hex values into PARAMS sliders.
